National College Radio broadcast a special 'careers fair' programme from the heart of the event in the middle of the social area in the college.

National College Radio launched on November 5th 2019. It all started with a collaboration between the University of Salford and Salford City College. The first of our programmes was presented by Irfan (college student) and Dom (uni student). It featured interviews with Salford City College Staff, who spoke about their journey through education and Salford University Student Aarran (also studied at Salford City College) who spoke about university life and what it's like to make the step from college to uni.

COLEG CAMBRIA / 10/12/19/

National College Radio visited Coleg Cambria in Wrexham, Wales, in Decmber 2019. The College students were hands on producing and presenting the LIVE programme from the library at the college. Louise trained students in camera work to film film the event and lecturer Liz made a guest appearance to tell us all about her career and why she loves teaching film and media.

Just before Christmas, NCR made a special programme with the popular music students at Wakefield College. The students were planning and preparing for a production called 'Something Strange' based on the music and style of Netflix hit 'Stranger Things'. The NCR programme was broadcast in the hour before the production started - Wakefield College decided to play this out live to the audience in the auditorium whilst waiting for the production to begin.
